Wondering what is JNNSB?

JNNSB is the IEEE student branch of Jwaharalal Nehru New College of
Engineering. It is one of the most active student branches of Karnataka. We
organize and host a wide range of technical workshops and events. We have our
odd sem fest Anveshana,Mysterio and even sem fest Plasma,Avishkaar are few
our signature events.

And, why JNNSB?

JNNSB conducts various kinds of workshops, seminars, webinars,
technical talks, competitions, hackathons, and events througout the
semester to help its members for the all round development with the
advancing technology.

A Part of IEEE Mangalore Section

IEEE Mangalore Sub-Section was formed on 19th April 2014 with the aim to conduct various student and professional activities
like invited talks, student internships, workshops and the conferences. The Engineering colleges from Mangalore, Udupi,
Karwar, Shivamogga, Chikmagalur district comes under this Sub-Section. At present, it has more than 1000 IEEE Members in
total including Professional and Student Members.

Focus Groups

The people with common technical interests form groups to focus and learn on a particular technology and develop real-life application projects.

Industrial Visits

As a part of the technical tour to make students get exposure about working of things in Industries every semester we conduct Industrial visits.

Weekly Meetups

We conducts weekly meetups where IEEE Members are mostly focused to learn new technical concepts and implementing simple projects.

Social Initiatives

Every year we visit government school with a theme to make children familiar with the basic use of technology and its benefits for individuals.
